What you’ll be doing

You’ll be involved in projects right from the beginning by conducting scoping activities with the Directors of Heyday, to make sure we’ve got a great understanding of clients capabilities and needs
Planning, facilitating and observing user research and user testing will take up a decent portion of your time;
as will contacting information- architecture studies and developing interactive prototypes, wireframes, user flow and site maps
As a Senior UXer, you’ll then be creating reports to present your findings and ideas back to the client
You’ll also be working closely with the junior members of the team, mentoring them in the workplace and reviewing their work, to keep helping them grow.
You’ll be working with the Director team to improve and shape our UX strategies and processes, so we can really cement a reputation of being UX specialists
Finally, you’ll also be involved in identifying new business or initiating new projects with existing clients

Who you are

You’ll be able to talk to us about your time in a UX role, in and end to end digital environment
You know the user is everything! But understand the need to balance this with the client’s wants
You’ve got a keen eye for the bigger picture and are a proven strategic thinker. You won’t be afraid to suggest ideas or challenge ours. You’ll have experience imputing into UX processes and strategy
You’ll have experience leading, or mentoring, a team of UXers, and you’ll enjoy helping your team members succeed and grow.
You’ll have strong presentation and communication skills - you won’t be afraid to step up in front of a client, or negotiate with your team
You'll have experience with Adobe/Axure/Invision/and Optimal Workshop tools
You’re connected to the UX community, know what’s going on in the outside world, keeping up with trends in usability, and constantly learning from it
Enthusiasm and flexibility to work on a variety of projects are the keys to success at Heyday, as is having the ability to rapidly acquire new domain knowledge. So these will be two of your key traits.
